Photovoltaics

All solar energy systems operate on the same basic principles. Solar modules first convert solar energy or sunlight into direct current using the so-called photovoltaic effect (PV). The DC energy can then be stored in a battery or converted by a solar inverter into AC power that can be used to power electrical appliances. Depending on the type of system, the surplus solar energy can be fed into the electricity grid 'per credit', sold or stored in many different battery storage systems.
 
The development of the technology of photovoltaic modules together with the economies of scale has reduced the cost of solar power plants by 90% over a decade. This causes a massive global interest in electricity production, also on a micro and medium scale. Several dozen months of returns on investment are a sufficient incentive for owners of houses, companies and public institutions to install solar systems. In addition to economic values, environmental aspects, the need for decarbonisation, the elimination of the carbon footprint by entrepreneurs and saving natural environment are of great importance. The energy transformation has become a fact.

Necessary permits - paperwork

 

Investment Consulting Enterprise, on behalf of the client, will carry out all the necessary formal matters regarding the installation of the PV system, installation and commissioning of the system, applications to the Distribution Network. Our legal department will prepare and submit applications required by law, and will obtain the required permits and decisions on behalf of the client. We are distinguished by efficiency and a quick path to obtain formal decisions, approvals and opinions.

 

Delivery and warranty

 

Our knowledge and competences are unique on the Polish market. An international team of experienced experts provide services from the module manufacturing factory. There we carry out  factory audits - minimizing the risk thanks to a comprehensive evaluation system. Factory inspections before shipment make each batch of modules for our clients meet the agreed criteria. We deliver the equipment only after our expert presents a quality certificate for an individual batch of goods. Enforcement of quality standards and guarantees is possible only when the delivery contract reflects the agreed conditions - this is how we operate. We always have legal protection that ensures long-term but most of all effective product warranty.

 

Conceptual design

 

We provide engineering services by developing a feasibility and performance study as well as an optimized conceptual design of PV installations. Our goal is to provide our clients with the lowest level of LCOE (levelized cost of electricity), i.e. precise estimation of the costs of the PV installation and its operation over its entire operating time. We end this stage by submitting a report with a recommendation to choose the right investment and installation model.

 

After-sales service and technical inspections

 

As part of our contracts, we carry out expert technical and warranty inspections. In addition to technical prevention - it allows us to analyze the assessments of key aspects of solar installations. This translates into efficiency and reliability of solar systems. Our technical experts have an experience-based rating system that focuses on highlighting risks and recommending good solutions.

Monitoring of efficiency and operation of the installation

 

We support our clients by monitoring the work of photovoltaic installations after their commissioning through proven computer programs. Thanks to this, most of the ongoing maintenance activities remain outsourced outside our client's enterprise, and in the event of a failure, we immediately remove the defects, restoring full system performance.

Investments - solar farms

Due to the energy transformation, large-scale photovoltaic projects are characterized by a great development dynamics in Poland. Since 2019, investors have been looking for land for PV farms, and the total amount of installed PV capacity by the end of January 2021 amounted to 4.1GW. The vast majority are micro-installations, but this trend will probably be reversed in 2021, when the volume of large-scale PV installations will increase dynamically. In 2020, auctions were concluded, on the basis of which over 0.7 GW of capacity may be generated.

Sport - solar energy for sports facilities

Together with our partners, we are precursors in the design of solar systems for sports facilities.
